This dial type thermometer has a 5" long stem and a 1" diameter dial and can measure temperatures ranging from 0 to 220 degrees Fahrenheit with a +/- 2-degree temperature accuracy. The dial has a blue indicator mark at 32 degrees, which is the freezing point for ease of adjustment and a HACCP danger zone that is highlighted in red. It has a red protective sheath with an antimicrobial additive. It features a bi-metal coil movement with a magnifying lens for easy reading,

The anti-microbial additive in the plastic sheath inhibits the growth of bacteria on the unit. It does not protect users or others against food bacteria. Always wash, rinse and sanitize this product thoroughly before and after each use.
