Edlund 12100 Manual Can Opener

The Edlund's Old Reliable is the original manual can opener. Edlund invented these original can openers over 75 years ago, and they have set the standard in food service ever since.

It is table mounted and can open up to 15 to 25 cans per day. The plated steel base is for cans 11" tall. The improved casting technology promotes plating life. The new base design provides more rigidity. The new replacement plastic base insert provides smooth glide action and reduces wear on the opener shaft.

The new melonite arbor provides greater rust resistance to make gear changing easier. The delrin plastic bushing reduces friction against the handle to decrease wear. Delrin is a type of plastic that makes it high stiffness, low friction and excellent dimensional stability. The melonite arbor will provide harder steel and self lubricant.
